Church Street - Newham

Due for completion in June 2010 this residential development in Newham, London consists of 54 new build flats. The two blocks are connected with an underground car park. The superstructure of basement and both buildings was concrete frame. This incorporated flat slab design modelled finite element analysis software with various transfer beams also required where columns didn’t line up. The foundations were ground bearing reinforced pads and the basement was constructed with bored piled walls.
